I wanted to do a small project for myself using Kaledo to experiment pattern and print creation and of course simply to learn some of the buttons and tabs to this program. I created a mini fall collection for toddlers composed of my original prints and plaids in knits and wovens.

Heroism is an ongoing trend in both men's and children's wear. We see it a lot in active wear and also in casual t-shirts or sleep wear, so I wanted to incorporate this inspiration into some fashion pieces that I designed on illustrator.
I put together this mood board in a comic strip format to really enhance the concept of heroism!
Above are just two of my various experiments with Kaledo (strictly to study the program). What's interesting about this program is that it allows you to create fabric patterns and prints with the layering of fibers and threads. Unlike photoshop where you use the basics of shapes and colors, Kaledo ultimately gives you a more accurate visual presentation and thread counts for what it will look like in real life.

Wrapped it up with sketches and some practice CADs. Please contact me via email if you are interested in seeing more of the collection.
